My name is Tim and I am a fan of Christopher Moore. (Hi Tim)
I guess it started for me in late 2002. My girlfriend — soon to be ex — had passed on a copy of Bloodsucking Fiends. And that book sat on my dresser for a good six months. I didn’t crack the thing. Eventually I realized that on the shelf at work was another book by this Christopher Moore guy, Coyote Blue. (Work-ethic spoiler ahead) Maybe it was a lack of a project to work on, or maybe it was apathy (the company was going out of business and I was about to change professions) but I picked his book off the shelf and read it cover to cover that day. Then I went home and read Fiends that night instead of sleeping. Since then I have read the rest of his books and eagerly awaited the release of each next one.
So far, thirteen months.
Finally word has gotten out that a book is on the way, or at the very least is being written. I have no idea what it is about — I hope that it has nothing to do with the Sequined Love Nun — but I have begun to hold my breath.
And if I have another 13 months of waiting ahead of me, there will be a skin bound book on my shelf on month 14.
