Every once in a while I take a quiz online. Usually it is the 'If you were any type of fruit in a past life which celebrity would you have been the favorite fruit of' variety. I always want John Wayne to like me. Today I started taking a couple of quizzes. The first told me that I was great with grammar. The next told me that I should have been born in Italy and the third told me that I was 97% stressed out.
That is a really grim number.
Of course, I don't know if that is 97% of the way to needing a vacation or 97% of the way up the clock tower with a rifle and plenty of ammunition.
Online quizzes can be somewhat incomplete in their analysis.
So, I did what any sane person who traded up all his other addictions for a facebook account would do; I took a bunch more online tests.
Here is what I found:
You scored a 17. Scores of 13-17 Danger Zone. Watch out!
If your score totals 150 or more:
You have a 50-50 chance of developing an illness.
If your score totals 300 or more:
You have a 90 percent chance of developing an illness.
This score is a measure of overall emotional well-being. Your score is 2.56 on a range of 1 to 5. A higher score indicates that you are more well-adjusted.
You are very prone to the negative effects of stress and may be open to stress-related illness.
So, this isn't as bad as the clock tower scenario, but I do need to keep working to bring some order and stability to my life. Oddly enough, I don't feel like I am THAT stressed out. I think that I cope quite a bit better than these tests give me credit for. I'm going to go with the Christopher Titus theory on this one. People like me know how to step away from the fan.
On a side not: xkcd is once again brilliant.
