Today was going to be a lighter day than yesterday. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that my projected burn for this workout was supposed to be 216 calories, so I decided to really push through. I figured I had nothing to lose. I am going to work out whether it is light or rigorous, and I really want to do a number on my body so that when I get to P90X I really see some major changes. After pushing through 15 workouts--3 fewer than yesterday--I found that I had burned almost 336 calories, not only beating today's somewhat lower expectations, but doubling--and then some--my overage from yesterday So far I am about 168 calories above my projected for this project.
Today was mostly an extremity day, arms and legs taking most of the abuse. I imagine that when I come back to work out again on day 4 that I will be having a core day. We'll see.
Oh, also NB: Before my workout today, we took a walk around the neighborhood to warm up. Those calories remain uncounted.
One thing is now certain, tomorrow is going to hurt. I can't wait till I get past the initial period of DOMS. I cant wait until I can see a six pack again (okay, a four pack was my best showing).
