Another good day with the Wii and EA Sports Active. I've been doing this for just over a week now, starting out with the usual soreness, but after day 4, that abated entirely. I already feel springy, like I did back when I was playing soccer regularly (Goalkeeper). I don't really expect any major changes with this work out yet. It has been a week, one that I have mostly spent re-acclimating myself to being a fit person, physically.
As much as this feel good, it is going to take me a while to really get back into the lifestyle. I still drink far more diet coke than I should, but it isn't coke and pepsi any longer. I have mostly replaced my overt consumption of sugars and now need to focus on the insensible sugars in my diet.t wouldn't hurt to eat more veggies either.
Today was another good workout where I bested the projected burn by a wide margin once again. I was supposed to be around 245 calories and hit 310. I am working toward 6000 calories in the game, but mentally I have started pushing toward 7500. Next month will be 10,000, certainly.
One thing, there is a contest on the horizon that may undo me. I am considering entering "Evil Pie" in the American Pie Council National Pie Contest this winter. I think I have a good recipe if I can work out the crust. I am going to be taking quite a few evil pies to work over the coming months. If I can avoid eating them, I should do well. I will be a Lean, Mean, Pie Baking Machine.
